Dredging is regularly needed to remove silt, sand & sediment buildup to provide access around residential docks and ensure waterways remain navigable. Chesterfield has extensive experience regarding marine transport on Long Island & Fire Island including dredging, both land and water based, by clamshell and/or excavator. Our off-road haul trucks and dump trucks allow us to remove and dispose of the dredged material in the event it is not suitable to use for shoreline renourishment.

Chesterfield’s fleet of Landing Craft’s, Sectional Barges & Push Boats are available for hire. Primarily throughout the Great South Bay and Fire Island, Long Island we have also serviced customers from Fishers Island to Staten Island.

Chesterfield has a variety of crawler, rough-terrain and truck cranes ranging in size from 13Ton to 100Ton which are available for hire.
